At the Village Project Collective, we are dedicated to improving the lives of the BIPOC LGBTQIA+ community and beyond. Central to our mission are our core values of commitment, understanding, innovation, and passion. Recognizing the importance of community, we push ourselves to approach the pressing challenges faced by BIPOC LGBTQIA+ individuals with creativity and foresight. We hold a strong belief that meaningful change can occur when we fully invest and focus our efforts.

OUR VISION

Members of the BIPOC LGBTQIA+ community, along with others, deserve to live without the burdens of racism, intolerance related to gender, violence, and systemic injustices. They should have the opportunity to pursue their fullest potential and engage in all areas of life free from intimidation. Our aim is to empower BIPOC LGBTQIA+ individuals by providing access to resources that enhance their quality of life.

TVPC nació de las numerosas necesidades que enfrenta la comunidad negra LGBTQ+. Una comunidad que continúa en desventaja económica debido a la continua discriminación estructural sistémica. Un porcentaje considerable de nuestra comunidad por diseño enfrenta inseguridad alimentaria y de vivienda, menos oportunidades educativas, barreras para un salario digno sostenible y falta de atención médica asequible.

Estamos luchando contra el nivel desproporcionado de inseguridad económica, violencia, acoso, VIH e inequidad en la salud, intolerancia religiosa, injusticia criminal, arrestos selectivos y tasas dispares de encarcelamiento de personas negras trans.

Desde el principio entendimos que una parte clave para asegurar una mejor calidad de vida para los negros LGBTQ+ amantes del mismo género que necesitaban nuestro apoyo era proporcionar pruebas de VIH gratuitas y de fácil acceso. Inmediatamente nos pusimos a trabajar y encontramos patrocinadores que entendieron la necesidad de nuestra existencia. La necesidad es grande pero fuimos creados para esto. Siempre necesitamos seguidores que nos vean y compartan nuestra visión.
